Dairy & Egg Free Pikelets
Ingredients 1 cup plain flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
2 teaspoon Baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2 tablespoons Sugar
1 cup Soy milk
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla essence
5 Tablespoon Vegetable oil
1. Sift Flour, Baking soda, Baking Powder And Salt in bowl
2. Add Sugar to bowl and mix well
3. In a mesuring jug Add Milk Vanilla and oil and pour into bowl
4. Whisk all ingredients together
5. Heat Frying pan betewn 5 and 6 add a little oil
5.5 Let the pan get hot before adding mixture
6.Pour enough mixture to make a pikelet or a pancake
7.Cook until bubbles on the top and flip to cook further.

ReplyDeleteHi Saul, I can't see the photos you've attached to this post. Is your family dairy and egg free? That makes for finding interesting recipes and adapting in creative ways. I used to teach a boy who lots of allergies and eggs, soy and nuts were particularly bad. I enjoyed finding recipes we could use in class that were OK for hime.
