It is me Quein again a blog commenter for the Manaiakalani Summer Learning Journey. It is awesome to see the different types of birds that are on New Zealand's amazing beaches. It is really cool that you got to use the binacolours and the camera. The second one on the left looks like a Royal spoonbill bird. Could you tell me and your fellow bloggers what the other types of birds are?

Keep up the Super work we look forward to your next blog pos and the next story!!!

    Have a Super Summer!!!

    Ngā mihi,

  2. Kia ora Saul!

What a lovely collage of New Zealand birds! I really like how you are using language to encourage bird watchers along to your club such as "Come and watch birds you may have never seen before", and that the invitation is open to "all ages".

Like Quein previously pointed out, it would be helpful (and informative) if your images had labels. Could you let us know the names for each of the birds you have featured in your advertisement?

Have you been bird watching yourself in real life? I like to go out of my kayak and watch the native kingfishers swooping into their holes in the caves near my house - we live on an estuary and so we are privileged see many water birds.

Keep up the great work! I look forward to your reply.
    Nga mihi nui
